He began his career in 1964 he worked on Florida Georgia and Carolinas going back and forth wrestling expanding his career winning over others even holding tag team titles but in 1970 his career was black listed by national wrestling alliance for repeated appearances with independent promotions and compliants by people that hated on him because he tried to create a union for the wrestlers now the wwe is honoring him and his career in the 2024 wwe Hall of Fame
