Muhammad Ali family gifted The Rock with the People's champ custom title because he kept the legacy of the people champ going

The People's champ holds a lot of history in both boxing and wrestling it all started with Muhammad Ali winning the championship title on February 25 1964  he knocked out another legendary boxer named Sonny Liston and won the championship belt at 22 years old after that big win people started calling him the People's champ that name stayed with him until The Rock asked The family to use it they passed it down to him and was proud to have someone to keep that name so fans can keep that respect of what it really means to say it now Muhammad Ali family has gifted a custom title called the People's champ
